These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Talva, operated by Talva ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. What Talva is

Talva is an AI specialist platform. You hire AI specialists that perform recurring work and deliver results to your email inbox. Specialists operate on automated schedules ("heartbeats") and learn from your feedback over time.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. One account per person. You must be at least 18 years old to use Talva.

3. How billing works

Talva charges a monthly subscription fee per specialist based on the frequency tier you select (Daily or Hourly). Prices are listed on our pricing page and may change with 30 days' notice. On-demand runs are billed at $3 each and added to your monthly invoice.

Billing is processed through Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically each month. You can cancel at any time — cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds for partial months.

4. What you can expect from us

We will make reasonable efforts to ensure your specialists deliver work on schedule and at a consistent quality level. Talva is an AI service — outputs may occasionally contain errors, require editing, or not meet your expectations. We encourage you to review deliveries and provide feedback so your specialists improve.

We do not guarantee specific business outcomes, revenue, or results from using Talva specialists.

You retain ownership of all content you provide to Talva (business context, documents, feedback) and all content your specialists produce for you. We use your data solely to operate and improve your specialists. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.

7. Intellectual property

Talva's platform, specialist designs, and underlying technology are our intellectual property. The outputs your specialists generate are yours. You grant us a limited license to use your inputs solely for the purpose of operating your specialists and improving the service.

8. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update, modify, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. We will notify you of material changes by email at least 14 days in advance.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Talva's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate at any time. You can cancel your account through your dashboard or by emailing support@talva.io. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with notice where practical.

Upon termination, your specialist data is retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted. You may request an export of your data before deletion.

11. Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the applicable jurisdiction. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration, except for claims for injunctive relief which may be brought in court.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
